My husband and I were in desperate need of a replacement vehicle after our 2002 Camry decided to "retire" in Florida while on vacation. In its defense, it served us remarkably for nearly 300,000 miles and very, very few repairs in the 10 years we owned it. We knew we wanted another Camry and after visiting a couple of other dealerships nearby that did not follow up with us, we found Hendrick Toyota in Merriam, Kansas. It was a treasure! From our first encounter with the sales staff, we were well taken care of and treated like valued customers. We were seeking a reliable used Toyota Camry that could fit within our budget and Hendrick delivered. Our salesman, Brian Hughes, was fantastic with us, building a rapport and answering all of our many questions with patience and knowledge. He knew his cars! Brian stayed late to accommodate our schedule and made sure from start to finish that we found exactly what we wanted. Our car already looked beautiful and new, especially for a 3 year old model, but after we decided on the purchase, Brian made sure it had another detail while we completed our paperwork with his finance manager, Thao Dinh, who was also a wonderfully competent and personable representative of Hendrick. I recently traded in my 2001 Camry that I had driven for 15 years, for a 2016 Camry. One reason that I drove my car for so long was because I really dreaded the "car buying experience". However, I must say that I enjoyed my recent experience more than I could have imagined. Robert Cosgrove was an excellent salesman; I appreciated his patient, low-key, down to earth approach. Joshua Woodward explained the financing/extended warranty in an easily understood fashion (with pictures for me, which I really liked). Chris Foster was very helpful when I brought the new car in for a couple of little touchups.... and I really appreciated that the dealership agreed to repair the hail damage that occurred in the first 15 minutes of my ownership of the car. Josh Sweeten, Service Advisor was my first contact at Hendrick Toyota when I took my 2001 Camry in for an oil change. I appreciated the detailed manner in which he explained things and I will look forward to working with as my service advisor when I bring the new car in for tire rotation and oil changes. I recently purchased a 2016 Camry. The sales and service team were exceptional. They clearly explained everything about the car and sat with me through the whole process. The finance department thoroughly explained my terms and warranty information. He was very kind and helpful. This was truely the best car buying experience i have had. Brandon Duckworth and Mercedes Kuhns were very kind, pleasant and helpful throughout this experience.
Went in to Hendrick Toyota because my last vehicle that I purchased from them was totaled when someone ran a red-light and tboned me. I really didn't want to have to purchase a car and some close friends were telling me to go with CarMax, I got pre-approved and they had pretty much exactly what I was looking for at CarMax. That being said I went by Hendrick due to my last transaction there and was met and shown around by Francisco A. I probably wasn't in the best mood but he took it in stride and was able to find me a car in the same ballpark as I found at CarMax. I was also assisted by the helpful and good-humored Lydia T., eventually I was left to the financing department who managed to work with me on service plans and kept their pricing fair and competitive. Nobody looks forward to having to buy a car, but as someone who has purchased from them twice, I can safely say that I would return if had to buy another car. Hats off to them for showing loyalty to returning customers.
